She hadn't done much to her face, but her mouth was another story altogether. She had had her teeth built and sculpted into perfect squares. When she smiled, she displayed two perfect lines of close-up white pixels on a curved screen. When she ate, she booleaned a neat cylinder out of her food with each bite. They had agreed that whatever they did, their relationship was doomed: there was no way they would make it good living in non-intersecting planes of existence. Anyhow, neither would live beyond the age of 40, at least not in the conventional way as one would consider living, as in eating, sleeping, fucking and wondering aimlessly around between each meal, rest-time or fuck much as they did now. He's chemically induced disconnection and She's electronically induced hallucination would have obliterated reality by then. Without stimulus from the outside world, they would stop eating, resting and fucking. Their bodies would wither and in few months they'd be dead. ...
